Digital Humanities Coffee Talks

The DH Coffee Talks are a low-level course for students and lecturers in the Humanities alike. Their intent is to show computer-based methods and systematical use of digital resources, as well as reflection on their implementation in the work of humanists. The course aims to present special, mostly free, tools and projects within the Digital Humanities and discuss their practical use. It is also meant as a discussion platform for researchers at MLU and other universites.

Starting in the winter semester 2017/18, the ULB cooperates with the Historical Data Centre Saxony-Anhalt as well as the Chair in Economic and Social History of the Institute of History. The Coffee Talks take place within a joint couse titled "Digitale Methoden für die Geisteswissenschaft" (Digital Methods for the Humanities).
