DESCRIPTION:Correct citation is one of the basics of scientific work. Academic work always means independently analysing the statements of others. A citation indicates to your readers that you have used information from external sources in your work. Whenever statements or content from others are adopted, these must be marked as a citation; sources from which information has been adopted must also be named accordingly in order to avoid accusations of plagiarism. Additionally, the use of a uniform citation style is part of good scientific practice. The course teaches the basics of citation and provides tips for dealing with citation rules.\n \nFor organisational reasons, pre-registration is required.
