Emergency Delivery

Allgemeine Hinweise

Because of rising journal pricing and a stagnating budget of libraries, the alliance of science organisations in Germany has founded the project "DEAL" to negotiate country-wide licensing contracts for the entire journal portfolio of the big science publishers.

While agreements could be made with the publishers SpringerNature and Wily, the negotiations with Elsevier have so far not come to a conclusion. Elsevier has blocked access to the so-called Freedom Collection and the years 2017 and later of former licensed journals for the Martin Luther university. For the years up to and including 2016, archiving rights apply and keep them available.

Should you find yourself without access to required articles in Elsevier journals during your research, the ULB offers an emergency delivery for university affiliates via interlibrary loan and Subito. The ULB carries the cost for these orders.

Notversorgung über Subito

You can order via subito after registering. The ULB will set up an account for you.
