Take a look behind the scenes at the University and State Library Saxony-Anhalt on a guided tour of its historic storage building.

 

Built at the end of the 19th century as one of Germany’s first purpose-built libraries, the building still reflects storage principles that are relevant today. Discover fascinating insights into the architecture, the library’s special collections, and the work of the largest academic general library in the state. The tour also offers rare access to the storage areas, which are normally closed to the public.
