ULB Training Courses in the Third Quarter

Content

The training program of the University and State Library of Saxony-Anhalt for the third quarter of 2026 is now available online. Members of Martin Luther University and users of the State Library are cordially invited to participate in our events.

The start of the summer break in mid-July gives many university members the opportunity to expand their skills in a targeted manner: We offer events on the basics of library use and research, introductory and advanced courses on reference management software, and courses on academic writing. In addition, the training sessions address current developments in open science, digital sovereignty,
research data management, and critical engagement with fake journals.

Thus, the ULB continues to offer a practical program in the third quarter that supports you both in getting started with academic work practices and in further developing advanced skills. The events are
designed for participants with varying levels of prior knowledge.

Can’t make it in person? Many of our events are held either online or in a hybrid format. With the hybrid format, you can choose whether to attend in person in one of our training rooms or join online. Events that focus on applying new knowledge or on peer interaction are usually offered as in-person-only events.
