The policy was drafted and discussed by the MLU Open Science and Research Commission and adopted by the Academic Senate in the summer. The policy specifies which data resources should be stored by the MLU\u2019s infrastructure and preserved in perpetuity, and recommends the use of approved and appropriate external repositories for the storage of other data materials. The policy further recognises the need to increase the capacity of our current infrastructure to provide appropriate solutions for the University\u2019s highly diverse research outputs. In this process, national and international standards and recommendations are adhered to.
