Using the internet often leaves a trail of data which is of great interest to website operators, for example, so that they can offer personalised advertising. But what happens to the data generated when searching library catalogues and academic databases? What interest do publishers, for example, have in your searches?
These and other questions will be addressed in the talk on „Science Tracking“. The talk will also provide advice on what can be done to combat Science Tracking.
