Cite correctly

Correct citation is one of the fundamentals of academic work. Academic work always involves independently analysing the statements of others. A citation indicates to your readers that you have used information from external sources in your work. Whenever statements or content from others are used, these must be marked as a citation; the sources from which the information has been taken must also be named accordingly in order to avoid accusations of plagiarism. Furthermore, the use of a consistent citation style is part of good academic practice. The course teaches the basics of citation and provides tips on how to apply citation rules.
