Open Access-Policy of the MLU

The Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg is committed to Open Access publishing. In March 2017, the Rector's Office and the academic senate of the university published an Open Access-Policy.

The University has declared Open Access publishing a strategic priority and encourages researchers to make their works readily available. The university and state library supports these efforts by providing consulting services to authors wishing to publish in Open Access journals as well as financial support through the setup of a fund to cover publication fees (APC – Article Processing Charges). In addition, technical enhancements will be made to the Library's publication servers to facilitate the process of Open Access publishing.

If you have questions or would like to know more about any of these offers, please do not hesitate to contact us.
