Share_it is our central service for storing, archiving and providing access to digital publications (including open-access publications, secondary publications and university publications) as well as various research outputs from MLU and other universities and higher education institutions in Saxony-Anhalt. You can also search through a wide range of our digitised historical works (e.g. VD 18, incunabula).
With this platform, the library offers an additional platform alongside Share_it for storing, archiving and making digitised materials available. Here you will find both our digitised 16th- and 17th-century prints and digitised versions of our historical newspapers.
The digital documents in Share_it and Share_DIGit are made available in accordance with recognised quality standards. This ensures that these items can be permanently stored, easily located and cited.
With this repository, the library offers a service for the storage, archiving, and dissemination of research data and other digital objects for members of MLU and other partner institutions.
The subject-specific repository MENAdoc is a central component of the various services offered by the Subject Information Service (FID) Middle East, North Africa and Islamic Studies. The FID cooperates, in regard to the repository, with various publishers and institutions to provide free access via MENAdoc to digital sources and publications related to the MENA region and Islam worldwide.
MENAsearch is the central search space of the Subject Information Service (FID) Middle East, North Africa and Islamic Studies. MENAsearch records literature on the subject of Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies. Additionally, it lets you discover literature in the languages and scripts of the MENA region, order print holdings from, our local holdings and interlibrary loans. Also, you can find digital sources from the open access repository MENAdoc, use FID licences available online, create a watchlist for media and export literature references both in transliteration and original script.
With the server for electronic legal deposits, the library provides a modern environment for hosting, managing, and organizing our diverse collection of publications subject to the electronic legal deposit requirement.
