The start of ChatGPT a year ago has generated a real hype around Artificial Intelligence. Advocates see great potential in large language models such as ChatGPT by Open AI or Google’s Bard, while critics point out the risks and dangers. The use of AI in science is controversially discussed.
This course will cover the use of ChatGPT, Bard, Bing, and co. in dealing with literature and research. The basic functionalities of current AI systems will be explained, and the possibilities and limitations in library usage will be shown. No prior knowledge is required to attend the event. Those who have an account for ChatGPT, Bard, or Bing are encouraged to try out the presented prompts.
