Without the library? Unthinkable! [in German]
Even if you are retrieving the textbook digitally from home via VPN, and therefore not entering the library on site: The provision of study and research literature which you need every day is unthinkable without the library.
The library accompanies you all through your studies. You will always (on site or digitally) stumble upon the library: From borrowing a textbook, over the consultation of a ‘Semesterapparat’ in one of the many branch libraries, to searching for term or exam papers – just to mention a few scenarios.
Not least, the library is an important learning space at the university: If in a silent atmosphere or in a room dedicated to teamwork, or in an active learning space, the library is always a place to go. And, the library is much more…
Find out everything about the basics of the library with our subject specialist Silke Berndsen: What is the purpose of the library, and how does it work?
