During the 2025/2026 winter semester, the ULB is presenting a small display case exhibition on the theme of “The cultural history of the cookbook” in the foyer of the administration building at August-Bebel-Str. 13. The exhibits range from handwritten recipe collections by noblewomen of the 17th century to advertising cookbooks from the imperial era and modern cookbook literature. Of course, the publishing products from Saxony-Anhalt, which are collected in their entirety at the ULB, will also be featured. Perhaps the exhibition will even inspire you to try out one or two of the recipes!
