Zotero is a powerful and free literature management system. With Zotero, you can import bibliographic data directly from the discovery system, save time-consuming and error-prone typing, and manage your excerpts and annotations simply and conveniently. Zotero also takes on the task of formatting the citations and creating the bibliography for you.
Now, after 5 years of development, version 6 of this open-source literature management programme has been released. Among other minor improvements, the most important new feature is the integrated PDF viewer, which allows you to open saved PDF files directly in Zotero and directly annotate them.
