Funding of Open Access articles
The Publication Fund of the MLU supports staff members of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and the University Hospital Halle (Saale) by carrying publication costs (Author Publication Charges, APCs) of Open Access journal articles. Please note our transformation contracts and the Open Access-Policy of the MLU.
Application steps
- Check if the eligibility criteria are met.
- Submit an application using the form. The ULB then tries to check eligibility as quickly as possible. Acceptances or rejections should generally be made known within one week.
Please pay invoices over 2,000€ yourself first and then apply to the ULB for refunding of the maximum amount. For publication fees lower than 2,000€ (incl. VAT), provide the ULB’s billing address right away:
