Like Google for the library: "Ha:Lit" is the name of the literature search engine of the University and State Library of Saxony-Anhalt (ULB). The software is a so-called discovery system. How the search tool works is explained in the video.
The database information system (DBIS) of the University and State Library of Saxony-Anhalt offers users databases, both licensed by the university and free, reference works, bibliographies and catalogues.
The Electronic Journals Library (EZB) indexes the range of electronic journals licensed by the university and free of charge. This video explains how to use it.
This video gives an introduction to the ZDB. It is the world's largest database for title and ownership records of serials, including electronic journals.
The image catalogues of the University and State Library of Saxony-Anhalt (ULB) can be researched online and encompass conventional card caalogues as well as book-bound catalogues. Most importantly, the ULB's holdings before 1990 are entirely listed there, some of which are not yet included in the current online catalogue.
