Collecting, Managing, Publishing Data – A Systematic Approach to Computational Social Sciences

Computational Social Sciences (CSS) work with digital traces, complex datasets, and innovative analytical methods, ranging from social media data to network analysis.

This training offers a hands-on introduction to key questions concerning research data and how it can be made more sustainable, transparent, and reusable.
The focus is on challenges specific to CSS, such as handling sensitive online data, data processing and publication, as well as concrete support services provided by the ULB Saxony-Anhalt — from guidance in drafting a data management plan to long-term data archiving.
