Researching databases is an important component of any literature search. Databases offer an almost endless amount of information for the humanities and social sciences. The search for relevant results in the complex systems needs to be practised – what is it about wildcards, Boolean operators and truncations? The event is teaching the basics of successful database research and is giving an overview on how to find relevant databases for your own research.

For organisational reasons, pre-registration is required. Please use the corresponding Stud.IP course for this purpose.

If you do not have Stud.IP access, please register by writing an email  to learnit@bibliothek.uni-halle.de.
