07.07.2023
Expired!
20:30 - 21:00

The lecture shows what happens to your digitised material created in the hands-on lab during processing afterwards , which projects exist throughout Germany and how you can make use of them. Briefly highlighted is the huge range of digitisation projects at the University and State Library of Saxony-Anhalt, thus giving a brief insight into the (retro)digitised world of libraries. What is the retrospective national library all about and why is it necessary? What is being digitised, how and why? Where can one take a look at the resulting digitised material? What is a VD18 project and how does the Hallische Tageblatt of 07.06.1800 actually arrive in the internet? Get a brief overview of the scanners and projects of the University and State Library Saxony-Anhalt and learn more about the library’s digitisation strategy.
