Time

10:00 - 12:00

The event addresses the issue of so-called predatory publishing, which is a growing problem in the academic world. Fake journals give the appearance of being scholarly, but lack real quality control and mislead both authors and readers.

In this training session, you will learn how to identify questionable journals and which strategies and tools you can use to detect disinformation.

For organizational reasons, we kindly ask you to register in advance via the Stud.IP course.

If you do not have access to Stud.IP, please contact us at learnit@bibliothek.uni-halle.de.
