The Hands-on-Lab offers the opportunity to digitise your favourite book or a book from the holdings of the University and State Library using a scanner as well as to gain further insights into the workflow at the University and State Library. In addition to the scanning process, further processing, including quality control and deep structuring, is briefly demonstrated. The hands-on lab offers a brief yet vivid insight into the world of retro-digitisation in libraries.
