LAB: Fundamentals of Research and Academic Writing for Medical Dissertations

29.04.2025
13:00 - 15:00

Systematic academic research and the fundamentals of academic writing are rarely covered during medical studies (or in related disciplines). As a result, students in these fields are often required to write academic texts, such as dissertations, without having received proper preparation.

This course is designed to provide an introduction to the basics of academic research and writing specifically tailored to the context of medical studies. It is aimed at those currently working on a medical dissertation or planning to begin one.

LAB: In our LAB sessions, the focus is on problem-solving and learning through hands-on experience. You will have the opportunity to test tools and approaches yourself, gaining both knowledge and practical skills.

For organizational reasons, we kindly ask you to register in advance via the Stud.IP course.

If you do not have access to Stud.IP, please contact us at: learnit@bibliothek.uni-halle.de.
