Scientific Writing and AI: Opportunities, Limitations, and Rules

08.04.2025
12:00 - 14:00

Are you planning to write a scientific paper but don’t know exactly how to start? Or have you already begun, but somehow you’re stuck? Can AI make the writing process easier—and is it even allowed?

In our training, you will learn the basics of scientific writing to help you compose various academic papers. We will also discuss the Martin Luther University’s guidelines on AI, clarifying in which areas AI can potentially be used to facilitate the academic writing process. Additionally, you will get an overview of AI tools offered by MLU and have the opportunity to test them.

For organizational reasons, we kindly ask you to register in advance via the Stud.IP course.

If you do not have access to Stud.IP, please contact us at learnit@bibliothek.uni-halle.de.
