Update: The renovation of the main reading room has been completed. It can now be used as usual again.
Due to renovation work, the main reading room at August-Bebel-Straße 50 will be closed for use from September 1 to October 19, 2025.
You can view your magazine orders in the reading room for historical holdings and maps in the building opposite. During this period, it will also be open on weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Saturdays) and from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Sundays).
If you do not need any holdings from the magazine, you can of course also use our other locations and branch libraries.
